Music lovers in Mutoko are in for an unforgettable night as Zimbabwean music legend Alick Macheso and his renowned band, Orchestra Mberikwazvo, are set to perform live at Dhana Leisure Centre.

The event, to be held on Saturday April 5, promises to be a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and entertainment. It starts at 8pm.

The night will also feature electrifying performances by Somandla Ndebele and Denda Brothers, who will support Macheso and add to the evening's excitement.

Known for his captivating Sungura music style and unmatched stage presence, Macheso is expected to deliver a memorable performance that will keep fans on their feet.

According to the organisers, the event offers an excellent opportunity for fans to enjoy live music at an affordable price.

“This is an opportunity for people from within Mutoko and surrounds to enjoy music from arguably the country’s top musician, mix and mingle and merry-make ahead of the Easter and Independene day celebrations. It therefore isn’t an opportunity to miss,” said Learnmore Masunda the spokesperson of the centre.

Previously, Dhana has hosted the likes of Peter Moyo who in August last year had his birthday bash hosted at the joint at a time when co-performer Macheso was also celebrating the release of his album, Kupa Kuturika. The Chillspot Famiy has also performed at the same venue, and so has Freeman.
