The Zimbabwe Republic Police has issued a stern warning to individuals accused of inciting violence, naming Jacob Ngarivhume and Amos Chibaya as key suspects.
In a press statement dated 23 April 2025, the police described the two as instigators behind a group allegedly planning to carry out acts of violence, including property damage and destruction of buildings.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police warns those identified as ringleaders and instigators of violence that the full force of the law will be applied without fear or favour,” the statement said.
The police, working with other security agencies, assured the public that they are on high alert and ready to act against any attempts to disturb the peace. Citizens are urged to report any related criminal activities or threats.
