Ex-Dynamos vice-chairman Vincent Chawonza and prominent supporter Douglas Zakariya have come together to reward the DeMbare squad following their hard-fought 3-2 victory over Scottland FC.
The win, which saw Dynamos overcome the second-placed ZPSL side, was celebrated with a series of gifts for key players.
The gesture comes after Dynamos stunned Scottland FC in a thrilling Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (ZPSL) match, a result widely seen as a major upset given Dynamos' precarious position near the bottom of the table and Scottland's impressive form.
Midfielder Shadreck Nyahwa was named man-of-the-match for his standout performance, which included scoring a crucial equalizer.
He was awarded a 75-inch LED television set for his efforts.
In addition to Nyahwa’s prize, other players were also recognized. Denver Mukamba, Vusa Ngwenya, and Leroy Mavhunga each received US$100. The rewards highlight the importance of the victory for the team and its fan base, with the result providing a much-needed boost in the club’s fight for survival in the top flight.
Despite the recent win, Dynamos remains in a challenging position in the ZPSL standings. The club's management has recently hiked players' winning bonuses in a bid to inspire a turnaround in their season.
And their 12th man has come in to lend weight to the push for survival.
Despite having lost his position on the executive committee, Chawonza has not let that affect his passion for Zimbabwe's most successful club
