President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is Zanu PF’s First Secretary, has announced the party’s Politburo members, who will work together ahead of the 2023 harmonised elections.
Vice Presidents of the party, General (Retired) Dr Constantino Chiwenga and Cde Kembo Mohadi, the National Chairman, Cde Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri as well as the Secretary for Administration, Dr Obert Mpofu were appointed during the party’s 7th National People’s Congress held in October.
New members who are coming into the Politburo as per announcement at the party headquarters in Harare today morning are as follows.
Secretary for Health and Child Welfare and the Elderly – Douglas Mombeshora
Secretary for Ideology – Cde Charles Tavengwa
Secretary for Mines –Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana
Secretary for Local Government – Cde Supa Mandiwanzira
Secretary for Youth Affairs – Cde Tino Machakaire
Deputy Secretary for Finance – Prof. Mthuli Ncube
Deputy Secretary for Transport – James Makamba
