
Chairperson of Budget ,Finance , Economic Development and Investment Promotion Energy Mutodi is contemplating to leave the country as he is living in fear .
According to sources, Mutodi has been receiving threats from anonymous numbers.
This follows Mutodi's tweets raising allegations that Finance Permanent Secretary George Guvamatanga has been receiving between 5-10% kickbacks from contractors .
However, Mutodi later on withdrew the tweets with sources suggesting that he had received threats from high ranked officials within the Gorvenment system.

Sources suggest that Guvamatanga vowed to end Mutodi's political carrier.
Mutodi is a longtime ally of President Emmerson Mnangagwa dating back to the succession battles that pitted Lacoste and G40 factions in the build up to the ouster of then late President of Zimbabwe Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
Despite the withdrawal of the tweets, Guvamatanga still has to face Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Finance.
Former Speaker of Parliament Lovemore Moyo said that " Once a case is raised before Parliament it cannot be withdrawn on social media" Moyo tweeted.
Hansard number 51 volume 57 has an official record calling for Guvamatanga to be summoned by the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee to answer charges of corruption
