
Former Zimbabwean opposition legislator Job Sikhala has reportedly been arrested in South Africa after authorities allegedly discovered explosives in his vehicle.
The 53-year-old politician was detained by South African police in Pretoria, where he is currently being held at the main police station.

Images circulating on social media show Sikhala handcuffed by a plainclothes police officer before being seated on a roadside barrier. Beside him is an unidentified elderly man believed to have been travelling with him at the time of the arrest.
Another photograph shows what appears to be explosives wrapped in a yellow plastic bag, said to have been recovered from Sikhala’s car. The vehicle was reportedly intercepted by police before the discovery was made.
Authorities in South Africa have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident, and details surrounding the case remain unclear.
