Tanganda Tea Company Limited has appointed Ms Sharon Nyasha Kodzanai as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 12, 2026, marking a significant leadership transition at the listed agro-industrial group.
The appointment follows the planned resignation of long-serving chief executive Mr Timothy James Graham Trundell, who will step down from the role with effect from 31 March 2026 after 15 years at the helm. The company said Trundell will remain in an advisory role during the transition period to ensure continuity.
Announcing the development, the Board said it was confident in Kodzanai’s ability to steer the company forward.
“The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Sharon Nyasha Kodzanai as the Chief Executive Officer of Tanganda Tea Company Limited,” the company said in a notice to shareholders.
Tanganda described Trundell’s tenure as one of dedicated service, crediting him with providing stable leadership over a prolonged period.
“Mr Trundell will be stepping down after 15 years of dedicated and distinguished service to the Company,” the Board said, adding that his continued advisory role would support a smooth handover of responsibilities.
