
A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to one month in prison after stabbing a fellow patron above the eye during a bar fight in Karoi.
Nyasha Murombedzi was convicted of assault by the Karoi Magistrates' Court following the incident, which occurred while he and the victim were drinking at a local bar.
The court heard that an argument broke out between the two men and quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.

During the altercation, Murombedzi stabbed the victim above the left eye with a sharp object, leaving him with a deep cut.
The incident was reported to police, leading to Murombedzi's arrest and prosecution.
He was subsequently convicted and sentenced to one month's imprisonment.
