Boxer Ndodana Ncube dates Tanzanian pugilist

National Featherweight Champion, Ndodana Ncube popularly known as “Black Hammer” is set to face Ibrahim Class Mgender tonight at Mkwakwani Stadium, Tanga province in Tanzania.

Speaking to Zimbabwe Now, Ncube said he is prepared to face the experienced Tanzanian boxer, Mgender.

“I am in a good condition when it comes to mental and physical fitness. I prepared enough for the match through my manager Clyde Musonda. I am urging Zimbabweans in Tanzania to come and support the fight tonight. I am going to fight 10 rounds,” he said.

Ncube also thanked his manager, Musonda, who doubles as his trainer as well as his sponsors RM Plumping World.

Ncube’s manager also said they have been preparing for the fight since November 2022.

“I am hoping for a win since this fight is very important to us. Ibrahim is a good boxer and experienced boxer more than Ndodana and he is a three-star boxer while Ndodana is a two-star boxer, which means Ibrahim has got some advantages since he is fighting at home.

“We have done our homework since I had seen him fighting before. A win will give Ncube three stars so it’s an important fight for us,” said Musonda.

It is a non-title fight and the referee has not yet been mentioned.
