Black Hammer Ndodana Ncube, who is the National Featherweight Champion, lost a non-title fight to Ibrahim Class Mgender on Saturday evening at Mkwakwani Stadium, Tanga Province in Tanzania.
Speaking to Zimbabwe Now, Ncube’s manager who doubles as his trainer, Clyde Musonda said Ncube lost by a Technical Knock-Out in the 8th round.
“He did put up a good show, unfortunately he fought an experienced boxer with 34 wins and six loses,” said Musonda.
Ibrahim Class “King” Mgender is a Pro Boxer out of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania who holds 34 wins, six losses and none draw.
Ncube thanked his manager, Musonda as well as RM Plumping World for sponsoring him.
The fight was very important to Ncube as he could get three stars.
Mgender is an experienced boxer and he is a three-star boxer while Ncube is a two-star boxer.
