He brought smiles during the Kalisto Pasuwa stint, after nearly every game they gave him some money, they describe him as a magician.

His name is Denver Mukamba nicknamed Mundikumbuke by his legion of fans.

DeMbare played Premier Soccer League debutants Sheasham and won 1 nil courtesy of a captain Frank Makarati goal.

DeMbare played well and Sheasham were solid in defence.

A friendly match they played did not have a limited number of substitutes, but Mukamba did not get the much-needed game time.

Despite him not participating in the match, Mukamba was the centre of attraction at Ascot Stadium.

When Mukamba joined his teammates for up warm up session, he was mobbed by the Dynamos faithful.

It seems Dynamos fans cannot wait to watch Mukamba donning the blue and white jersey once again.

“Denver did not play but he was mobbed when he joined his teammates after the match. Dynamos security had to rescue him from the fans, Denver is loved,” said a Dynamos official.

DeMbare is yet to unveil Mukamba, but Zim Now Sports is reliably informed that the 2012 Soccer Star of the Year signed a six-month discipline-based contract.

In Hebert Maruwa’s starting eleven were some of DeMbare’s new signings, including Arthur Musiyiwa, Kevin Moyo, Jayden Barake and Tanaka Shandirwa.

The John Nyikadzino-coached Sheasham, who won the Central Region Division One title to earn promotion into the PSL, started with new acquisitions Leonard Janhi and Diego Makurumidze in their starting eleven.
