There is the saying that goes: Water is Life.
It is no wonder therefore that in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic when lifestyles the world over had to change to avoid its spread, one commodity that every household and individual needed most was water.
Water is equated to hygiene and without it, it becomes difficult, if not impossible, to combat disease.
It was at this time when water was literally life that Mr Bulk Water committed to distributing water to many high density areas of Harare, among them Chitungwiza, Epworth, Tafara, Mabvuku, Hatcliffe and Budiriro.
A total of 6 million litres of the commodity was made available to residents of these suburbs in one of the big social responsibility gestures singly undertaken by a company at the time.
Mr Bulk Water prides itself for harvesting and delivering a high-quality product that is subject to regular testing to guarantee suitability for human consumption. Among its wide range of clientele is the beverages manufacturing sector, health institutions, the manufacturing industry in general and, of-course households.
And the social responsibility work does not end with free delivery when the need arises. For years, Mr Bulk Water has also supported the sport of boxing, coming in as a sponsor of professional tournaments in Harare and, recently, in Victoria Falls.
In July 2022 when Zimbabwe hosted the World Boxing Council and African Boxing Union Conventions at the Kingdom Hotel in Victoria Falls, Mr Bulk Water solely organised an international boxing tournament to bring down the curtain to the mega-event which was officially opened by Vice-President Constantine Chiwenga and also had Sports Minister Kirsty Coventry in attendance.
