The Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ Conference (ZCBC) has announced that Bishop Emeritus Angelo Floro Martinez I. E. M. E. of Gokwe died on Tuesday, March 14. He was 83.
Bishop Floro was the Bishop of Gokwe from 2000 until 2017 when he retired from active ministry.
Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
In 1965, was ordained priest of Priest of Instituto Español de San Francisco Javier para Misiones Extranjeras.
Gokwe Diocese is the area stretching from Omay between Sanyati and Sengwa river. It stretches from the area between Kwekwe district and Nkayi north of Shangani River. It has many parishes and schools.
