Makanda doubtful for Simba Bhora clash

Dynamos Coach Herbert Maruwa has confirmed that Tinashe Makanda will not be available when the Glamour Boys take on Simba Bhora at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Makanda was introduced as a second half substitute when Dynamos demolished newly-promoted side, Sheasham at the giant National Sports Stadium last Sunday.

In an interview with Zim Now, Maruwa said they are also still assessing other players who have knocks and he will confirm their availability today (Friday)

“We are still assessing the players but for now Makanda is out. We still have two more days of training so, we can’t really say who else is out for now. Maybe by tomorrow we should have the correct information. But for now, Makanda is out,” said Maruwa.

Makanda was on target when Dembare beat PSL returnees Hwange at Barbourfields a fortnight ago. He scored the solitary goal which earned Dembare three points.
