Former Warriors player, Gilbert Mushangazhike has been fired at Golden Eagles Football Club, Zim Now has learnt.
Mushangazhike who took over from Joel Lupahla last season failed to guide the club for promotion which they ultimately lost the ticket to Simba Bhora.
In a statement issued by the club, Eagles said that they have since parted ways on mutual agreement with the coach.
“Golden Eagles Football Club would like to officially announce the departure of Head Coach Gilbert Mushangazhike by mutual consent, The Club expresses its gratitude to coach Mushangazhike for his hard work, dedication and contribution to the team during his tenure in charge and wishes him well in his future endevours,” Reads part of the statement
Eagles currently lie 7th on the Northern Region Division One log standings.
The current set up has since forced the ambitious side to part ways with Mushangazhike.
