The fight between Herbert Maruwa and Dynamos is far from over as the club is saying the coach faces at least three charges which include the use of juju and consulting prophetic sects when setting up the team.

“Maruwa will appear at a hearing in due course after we hand over his charge sheet tomorrow (today, Tuesday), which will outline some of the allegations he is facing,” Dynamos vice chairperson, Vincent Chawonza told Zim Now.

Chawonza declined to enumerate the detailed charges saying that this can only be made public after Maruwa has been formally told.

Sources within Dynamos revealed that the charges are emanating from Maruwa’s proclivity for spiritual guidance which is seen as compromising his professionalism as a coach.

According to information obtained by Zim Now Sports, Maruwa’s team selection was done at a prophetic shrine in Chiweshe.

Maruwa is not new to allegations of using juju as army side Black Rhinos fired him last season over the use of juju.

Maruwa was expelled from the army side after serving over five years with the club.

The sources said Maruwa has also been accused of extortion where the club is alleging that he demanded at least US$60 from each member of the technical team to pay for the services of a sangoma in Mufakose.
