Four people have been arraigned before the court after killing a man who had tried to restrain them from chasing a man whom they were after.
Nelson Mugada, 18, Calvin Furisa, 18, and their 15-year-old accomplice (name supplied but withheld for ethical reasons), appeared before magistrate Dennis Mangosi charged with murder.
The State alleges that on October 23, at Morebetterdays Mine Compound, the three accused and their three accomplices who are still at large, were chasing Tatenda Mapurani, who then tried to seek refuge at Charles Sanudi's house.
The team then turned against Sanudi, who had tried to restrain them from chasing Mapurani. They stabbed him twice with a knife on the right thigh and on the neck and he died on the spot.
The three were allegedly caught by the public, which led to their arrest.
The 15-year-old's father told the court that he was tired of his child's deeds as he was always doing unlawful things.
"Mukomana uyu mwana wangu. Ndaneta naye kwatinogara vari kuchemawo naye. Handizive kuti dare roita sei naye, (this boy is my son, l am tired of him, where we live they are also crying because of his behaviour. I do not know what the court can do with him)," he said.
The accused were ordered to appear in court on November 8. Mangosi denied them bail and told them to apply at the High Court.
