Masimba Holdings Limited is conducting a controlled blasting along the Masvingo-Beitbridge highway at the Nyanda area from October 31 to November 30, 2023, the construction company said in a statement.
“This is part of our road construction project to enhance the safety and efficiency of the highway. Please be advised that:
“The blasting will take place between 11km and 16km pegs.
“The affected part of the highway will be closed for up to one hour per blast.
“You should allow extra time for your travel or use alternative routes if you are going to or from Masvingo.”
The Masimba Holdings Limited is apologising for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the highway.
Masimba Holdings Limited said it appreciates people’s cooperation and patience as they are working to complete the construction as soon as possible.
