A 25-year-old Buhera man, Moven Mutero, was arrested on Wednesday on allegations of murdering Clemence Muchizii, 26.
The incident occurred in Mutero Village under Chief Nyashanu, police confirmed on X.
“ZRP confirms the arrest of Moven Mutero, 25, in connection with a case of murder which occurred in Mutero Village, Chief Nyashanu, Buhera on 24/01/24 in which Clemence Muchizii, 26, died.”
Mutero stabbed Muchizii all over the body with a kitchen knife following a misunderstanding over an undisclosed issue.
He was latter apprehended by a mob.
In another Buhera case, three male suspects are on the run on allegations of murdering a 75-year-old man, Bvurayi Chizema, on Wednesday at a homestead in Chiweshe Village, Chief Nyashanu.
The three suspects assaulted Chizema with machetes and left him for dead before proceeding to the bedroom where they attacked the second victim and stole US$273.00.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these three to report at any nearest police station.
