Zimbabwe coach Norman Mapeza lauded his team’s fighting spirit after their come-from-behind victory over Zambia on Saturday.
The Warriors found themselves two goals down early in the match but clawed their way back to secure a vital win. Mapeza was impressed with his team's response to adversity.
"We played well despite conceding two early goals," Mapeza told reporters after the match. "We took the game to Zambia and we should have won it in regulation time."
The Warriors dominated the second half and Mapeza believes their fitness proved decisive.
"We outplayed them particularly in the second half and they looked tired," he said.
