Cricket’s Lighter Moments As Batter Shumba’s Trousers ‘Fly To Half Mast’ In Attempt To Catch Ball

Zimbabwean cricketer Milton Shumba on Wednesday served laughs on the field after his trousers came-off during the Zimbabwe-Netherlands T20 World Cup encounter at the Adelaide Oval, Australia. Zimbabwe lost the crucial match by five wickets.

The batter had an awkward moment after scoring just two runs, and he lost his trousers in a bid to save the ball from hitting the boundary.

The incident took place in the 15th over of the Netherlands batting innings bowled by Luke Jongwe when Max Dowd hit the low full-toss towards deep mid-wicket.

Shumba could not field the ball cleanly as he chased it only to see it dropping down into the ropes and his pants fell off.

Shumba quickly pulled up his trousers and stood up.

The moment has become viral on social media as the fans considered it one of the most hilarious moments of the tournament.
