With just four matches remaining until the Zimbabwe Women Premier Soccer League reaches the halfway point, Platinum Royals are determined to capitalize on home advantage when they face Hope Academy at Greasham this afternoon.
The Zvishavane-based side is eager to bounce back from their defeat to Correctional Queens and will be looking to secure a crucial three points to bolster their position on the log standings. Head coach Lindiwe Ndlovu is confident in her team's ability to deliver a strong performance.
“We have prepared meticulously for this encounter, and I have the luxury of a full squad at my disposal,” Ndlovu said. “We are eager to put the Correctional Queens loss behind us and focus on this important match. The players are raring to go.”
This weekend's WPSL fixtures promise to be a spectacle of skill, drama, and unpredictability. Harare City Queens will host Black Mambas, while in-form Chapungu Queens face a stern test against Correctional Queens in what is expected to be the match of the weekend. Struggling Sheasham Gweru will be hoping to upset former champions Black Rhinos Queens.
Meanwhile, champions Herentals Queens will be looking to maintain their dominance as they welcome Faith Drive Academy, and Conduit Soccer Academy will be aiming to secure points against Maningi Youth Academy.
