Zimbabwean national team defender Brendan Galloway may be sidelined for up to two weeks after sustaining an ankle injury during yesterday's 3-1 victory over Namibia.
Galloway suffered the injury in the 26th minute of the match and was forced to leave the field, replaced by Teenage Hadebe. While the exact severity of the injury remains uncertain, members of the Warriors technical team have indicated that Galloway's ankle is swollen and could keep him out of action for up to two weeks.
The defender is scheduled to undergo a scan today to determine the full extent of the damage.
Galloway's potential absence would be a significant blow to the Warriors, as he has been a key player in the team's recent success. His absence could open the door for other defenders to step up and fill the void.
