Milton "Khama" Kamangira, a 54-year-old embodiment of athletic spirit, is preparing to electrify the 2025 Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup, his sights firmly set on the pinnacle of achievement: gold. "Gold! Gold!! Gold!!!" he proclaims with unwavering determination, his voice resonating with the passion that fuels his triathlon journey. This Mutare native, hailing from Zimunya and born on April 14, 1973, stands at 5'10" (179cm), a testament to the enduring power of human potential, regardless of age.

 As the 2025 triathlon season approaches, marking his fourth year in the SHAL Triathlon Corporate Challenge team, Kamangira's enthusiasm is palpable. "Each year, my excitement grows as I look forward to representing my company on a bigger stage and being part of the incredible Zimbabwe Triathlon family," he expresses. He attributes his continued participation to "the unique combination of camaraderie, personal growth, and the thrill of pushing my limits alongside inspiring teammates and competitors." For Kamangira, the event is more than just a race; it's a "highlight of my year," a sentiment underscored by his eagerness as he states, "I’m already counting down the days to the Cup Finals."

 Reflecting on his previous experiences, Kamangira finds it challenging to isolate a singular highlight, as "every experience with the Triathlon Corporate Challenge team feels like a highlight." He fondly recalls "the weekly Sunday challenges at Mt Pleasant Pool" and the "exhilarating final cup at Troutbeck Resort," emphasizing the "breath-taking scenery and perfect weather at Troutbeck Inn in Nyanga" as an "unforgettable backdrop for showcasing athleticism and team spirit."

 The benefits Kamangira has accrued from participating in the challenge extend far beyond the mere thrill of competition. "Personally, my greatest gain from participating in the Triathlon Corporate Challenge has been achieving and maintaining overall body fitness," he reveals. "Taking triathlon seriously has motivated me to train daily, ensuring I stay in peak condition to tackle the challenging terrain at Nyanga." This commitment has not only enhanced his physical well-being but also provided a crucial outlet for stress relief. "Running, in particular, has become my escape from the daily pressures of life, allowing me to clear my mind and recharge."

 Professionally, the discipline and resilience Kamangira has cultivated through triathlon training have positively impacted his work ethic. Moreover, the Bonaqua Triathlon African Cup offers a "well-deserved break from the routines of home and work," a chance to "appreciate the natural beauty of Zimbabwe while celebrating the hard work and dedication that goes into competing." He emphasizes, "There’s no better place to unwind than Nyanga, with its perfect weather and stunning scenery."

 With his sights set firmly on the pinnacle of achievement, Kamangira proclaims, "My goal for the 2025 Triathlon Corporate Challenge is clear: I’m aiming for the top of the podium, and I won’t be taking it easy on the competition." He emphasizes, "I’ve been training harder than ever, pushing my limits to ensure I’m in the best possible shape to conquer the challenging terrain at Nyanga." For him, "winning isn’t just a goal it’s a mindset." Beyond personal glory, he hopes to "inspire my teammates, represent my company with pride, and also inspire my competition to be like me, lol." He adds, “Let’s make Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup 2025 unforgettable!”

 Kamangira extends a warm invitation to "all corporates, individuals, running clubs, gym clubs, and fitness enthusiasts" to join the event. "The more participants we have, the greater the energy and excitement!" he enthuses.
