Stray Dogs Found With Newborn’s Remains

Shock and horror have gripped the Mbizo 19 community in Kwekwe following the gruesome discovery of a stray dog feeding on the remains of a newborn baby earlier this week.

Residents say the disturbing scene was discovered near an unfinished church building, sparking widespread outrage and sorrow throughout the neighbourhood.

The circumstances surrounding the abandonment of the baby remain unclear. It is not yet known whether the infant was already deceased before being left in the area or died after being dumped.

“The police collected the baby’s remains and took them to the mortuary. Authorities are now investigating this heartbreaking incident,” said a local resident.

The discovery comes amid growing concerns over stray and dangerous dogs in communities, especially following recent reports of pit bulls attacking people.
