A Chivhu man appeared before magistrate Ayah Kagwere facing bestiality charges after he was caught red-handed “raping” a neighbour’s goat.
Anymore Chipara, 25, from Madhibha village, under Chief Chirumhanzu in Chivhu was allegedly caught in the act by his neighbour.
Chipara pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The facts of the matter are that on 18 November this year, Haruperi Manjovha was sleeping in her bedroom when she heard her goats bleating in the pen.
She decided to check and went outside where she found Chipara “raping” her female goat.
The matter was then reported to the police, leading to his arrest.
