Daniel Muremba — better known as Giddagoria — is back on the mic after years of silence, and he’s making noise with a brand-new EP, Munhu Wese Mukati.

The ten-track project is stacked with energy and collabs that signal a serious comeback. Fans can look forward to verses from Khonangale, Maggikal, T Makwikwi, and Sakah, with one secret feature set to drop on launch night. Among the early favourites are “Kukwira Kumusoro” (with Khonangale) and “Welcome” (with Maggikal and T Makwikwi).

The launch isn’t just about music — it’s about reconnecting with roots. Giddagoria deliberately chose Ziko in Chitungwiza for the debut. Silent Killer and other crowd-pullers will light up the stage. “The people of Chitungwiza can come in numbers, and that is where most of the fans are,” Gidda told ZNyaya.

So where has he been? The artist admits his absence since 2021 wasn’t planned. He spent time in China, where the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted recording. “I had been quiet for some time, but I am back with this electrifying EP,” he said, promising to give fans the consistency they’ve missed.

Giddagoria’s name is stamped on classics like “Mwari Uyu” (2021), recorded with the late legend Souljah Love, and “Mahwindi Muriko Here” (2019), a track that gave Hwindi President his breakthrough. His story is tied to Zimdancehall’s evolution — from the ghetto sound to mainstream playlists.

This time, though, he wants the music to be more visible. “In the past, we couldn’t manage to shoot videos for some of the hit songs, but this time we will be shooting videos so that people can recognize me,” he said.

With Munhu Wese Mukati, Giddagoria is pressing play on a new chapter. Everyone knows that Zimdancehall never sleeps — it just waits for the next big drop. And in 2025, Gidda wants that drop to have his name on it.
