Police on the hunt for trouble-causing bouncers

Police in Harare have launched a manhunt for a couple of rogue bouncers who caused chaos at a posh nightclub over the weekend.

Bouncers identified as Gideon Sanyangore and Blessing Kamunda are being accused of causing chaos at Pabloz recently after being seen in a video that has gone viral.

In a video statement also doing rounds on social media platforms, the police assured the general citizenry that they would certainly conduct arrests.

“I can assure you that the guy/s are going to be arrested, whether they are  in Harare, Bulawayo or any other town …they will certainly be arrested,” a senior officer said while addressing what appeared to be a press conference.

In yet another video doing the rounds, one of the two bouncers is seen attacking a sitting patron after pouring some liquid substance on him.

This is not the first time the issue of rowdy bouncers has come under public scrutiny.

It is believed some of the characters terrorising patrons may not have been hired in the first place, but visit on their own and end up engaging in brawls while taking advantage of their strong physical built.

There have also been times they demand money from musical show organisers failure of which they cause havoc.
