Three Mutare men who produced fake defensive driving certificates and sold them to desperate drivers for US$75 have been arrested.
Tafadzwa Matose, 29, Tinashe Swikepi, 27 and Forget Trymore Mupita, 31 were arrested at the Civic Centre in Mutare recently after selling a fake defensive driving licence to Kudzai Chitsike of Chikanga.
The three appeared before Mutare magistrate Prisca Manhibi, who noted that the trio was endangering the lives of passengers and other motorists, before sentencing them to perform community service at the High Court in Mutare.
