Mbeu pays bride price for his manager, 44, officially marries her

Musician Ashton ‘Mbeu’ Nyahora, 31, is now officially married to his manager Faith Mashami, 44.

The two made headlines last year in May when Mbeu was alleged to have dumped his wife, Praise Chipungu, for Mashami.

Mbeu’s estranged wife had a cyber war with Mashami, a development that Mbeu castigated and led him to absolve his now official wife.

During the cyber war, Mbeu said that his former wife was out to tarnish his image and was jealous of his success. Mashami is the owner of Vessels of Honour Boutique.

The youthful musician was groomed by the late national hero Oliver Mtukudzi. In May 2022, Mbeu fired his manager of seven years, Eugine Museredza, claiming there was a lack of real growth and innovation.

Mbeu said he had to act to save his brand after recent developments in South Africa that saw fans baying for his blood following what Mbeu himself said was his manager dealing “with a dubious promoter.”
