Makoni-Thondlana unveiled as new Corporate Communications manager at Cottco

Cottco has announced Mrs Constance Makoni-Thodhlana as the Corporate Communications Manager effective January 9.

The company’s Acting Accounting Officer Munyaradzi Chikasha confirmed the appointment describing Makoni-Thodhlana as a well-rounded professional.

“It is our expectation that you will give the new team member all the necessary support she will need in order for her to effectively and efficiently conduct her duties as the transformation journey gathers momentum,” he said.

Mrs Thodlana has held several senior executive roles across government and parastatals, with 15 years of experience in journalism, communications, public relations, brand management and digital media management.

She has worked for the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare as Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Marketing and Communications Officer with the National Social Security Authority, Corporate Affairs Manager at the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency and the Judicial Service Commission where she was the Head of Corporate Services.

She holds a Masters’ Degree in Marketing Strategy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, and a Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism.
