Yet another feather in the cap for philanthropist Nyamukapa

Now in its seventh year, the Women Leading Change Awards celebrate the outstanding women who question, challenge and champion change across all industries.

Dr Faith Nyamukapa, a philanthropist and multi-award winning entrepreneur, has been nominated for her humanitarian work among many other change-makers in the world.

Dr Nyamukapa said her work as a philanthropist involves transforming lives and communities across Zimbabwe and beyond.

“I'm humbled to be nominated among many of the women change-makers in the world for the 2023 Women Changing the World Awards.

“I am committed to continuing to make an impact through my work and my vision for the future is to have more women geared to make the world a better place irrespective of background or race.

“This work is so important because it takes a dedicated and hardworking personality to attain such consistency,” she said.

Dr Nyamukapa has represented the country in various ways and on different platforms locally and internationally since 2016.

She has attained over 90 awards and recognitions as part of her achievements.

Among many other awards, she received  the Pan-African Humanitarian Award on Enterprise and Community Development in 2016 in Dubai, Top Female Academic Philanthropy of the year in 2016, and in 2018 she was a finalist for the Women for Africa Annual Awards in the United Kingdom.

The Women Changing the World Awards presented by Dr Tererai Trent, celebrate and recognise women achieving outstanding success in areas such as leadership, advocacy, technology, education, health and innovation.
