Battle of Zim clash hangs in the balance

The much-anticipated Battle of Zimbabwe scheduled for April 15 might be rescheduled to a later date.

Zim Now understands the two Giants Dynamos and Highlanders are expected to take part in a Mt Darwin road show on April 16 before their Uhuru clash in the Mashonaland Central district.

Sources told Zim Now that the letters were delivered yesterday to the clubs from the Sports Recreation Commission.

“We received letters confirming that we should be in Mt Darwin on the 16th which will make it difficult for clubs to travel so, basically the Battle of Zimbabwe should be rescheduled,” a club official told Zim Now.

Premier Soccer League Kudzai Bare said the match is still on and any changes will be communicated.

“As of now, the match is still on. Any changes will be communicated via our official platforms,” Bare said.
