Tawanda Mahachi, 25, Mitchell Mujuru, 36 and John Manditsera, 40 were brought before magistrate Dennis Mangosi at the Harare Magistrates' Court accused of possessing dangerous drugs.

The State’s case is that on April, 17, at around 16:00 hours detectives from CID Drugs and Narcotics were informed that there were some drug activities at number 52 Harare Street, Corner Abercorn/Harare Street.

They forced open the door and searched the toilet, leading to a seizure of 16 sachets of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine scattered on the floor.

The three were arrested and taken to CID Drugs for further investigations.

A field test was done on the seized drugs which tested positive to Methamphetamine.  The drugs recorded approximately 9 grammes with a street value of ZWL$90 000.
