President Emmerson Mnangagwa is tomorrow set to officially commission a flotation plant at Sabi Star Lithium Mine in Buhera, Manicaland Province.
Zimbabwe has the largest Lithium Reserves in Africa and the fifth-largest deposits world-wide. It has the highest number of lithium projects under exploration on the continent.
Bikita Lithium Mine in Masvingo Province is Zimbabwe’s biggest lithium producer and is the home to the World’s largest-known deposit of the metal at around 11 million tonnes.
Zimbabwe welcomes more investors to take up opportunities in the exploration, extraction and beneficiation of natural resources in order to maximise the value of its vast minerals.
President Mnangagwa also led the ground-breaking ceremony of the Sabi Star Lithium Mine in ward 12, Buhera North, Manicaland Province.
