Four male suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Ernest Moyo which occurred at a night club in Silobela.
The suspects, identified as Learnmore Chiribani,28, Archford Dube,20, Marshal Chuma,19, and Marvellous Kuchicha,19, were arrested at a witch doctor’s house in Mbizo, Kwekwe where they had gone for a cleansing ceremony.
Police confirmed that Moyo was reportedly stabbed with knives indiscriminately over an undisclosed issue.
“The arrest of the four suspects led to the recovery of a Columbian knife, a VI pin, stainless steel kitchen knife and an okapi knife which were stashed in a plastic bag under a block brick behind the witch doctor’s house,” police said.
In a similar case, a 40-year-old man, Maphios Mativenga was arrested in Zvishavane in connection with a case of murder in which the victim Simbarashe Moyo was found dead in a Honda Fit motor vehicle which was parked at a deserted home in Mudereri Village under Chief Masunda.
The suspect had accused the victim of having an affair with his wife before he assaulted him.
