Nine people died in a head-on collision between two Honda Fit vehicles near Mazowe Citrus around 2am today.
Mashonaland central Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Christopher Magomo confirmed the accident saying the two vehicles burst into flames on collision and the bodies of the victims were burnt beyond recognition.
Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi also confirmed the accident saying more details will be availed in due course.
