A 28-year-old man has been arrested by the police in Marondera in connection with the murder case of his wife.
Police confirmed the incident on X, saying the man, Tatenda Kaosa reportedly assaulted his wife Tanaka Ndaruza over infidelity allegations leading to her death.
“Police in Marondera arrested Tatenda Kaosa, 28, in connection with a murder case in which he allegedly fatally assaulted his wife Tanaka Ndaruza, 20, over allegations of infidelity,” police posted.
Meanwhile, in a related matter, the police are investigating a murder case in Kingsdale, Norton in which a male body was found near a butchery.
In a statement, the police said that the body had two visible wounds on the head and stomach.
“… the body of a 32-year-old man was found near a butchery in Kingsdale, Norton, with two visible wounds on the head and an approximately 10kg concrete stone placed on the victim’s stomach,” the police statement reads.
