Rachel Gomba, 27, who stands accused of killing her husband by stabbing him with a knife, made her initial court appearance yesterday.
Harare magistrate Mr Dennis Mangosi did not ask Gomba for her plea.
He remanded her in custody and advised her to approach the High Court for bail application.
The case against Gomba is that on 23 October 2022, her husband Paddy Magisa Mlambo, 27, returned home after a three day absence.
Mlambo failed to explain his whereabouts in the period to Gomba’s satisfaction.
This led to a fight and during the altercation Gomba stabbed Mlambo on the thigh using a kitchen knife.
Mlambo later died. Gomba was arrested and charged with murder.
