Former Citizens’ Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa’s purported Blue-movement has taken its inroads into Mashonaland East Province, a Zanu PF stronghold to familiarise with supporters of the opposition leader.

This comes as Nelson Chamisa resigned from the CCC party, with motions of a new movement already in play fronted by loyalists, Gift Ostallos Siziba and Amos Chibaya.

In a post on X, Siziba said that they had arrived in the province to converse with the citizens despite being faced with a great political assaults in the country.

“We have arrived in Mashonaland East Province to converse with Citizens in this part of the country. In the face of great assault to authentic politics in this country-we stand tall,” Siziba said.

He added that they are under the leadership of Nelson Chamisa with former colleagues in the CCC dismissing their arrangement and closeness to Chamisa.

“From Uzumba to Chikombo (sic) to Mudzi- Citizens are clear - they pronounce the leadership of president Chamisa,” Siziba added.
