A 33-year-old man, Kevison Murengwa fom Tengwe was arraigned before the court facing murder charges.
Murengwa allegedly killed his son on April 12, 2024 at Madzimoyo Farm in Tengwe.
The accused person invited the now deceased into his bedroom where he allegedly strangled him for no apparent reason.
In a statement, the National Prosecuting Authority said the accused was apprehended while he was on his way to kill the mother of the now-deceased, his wife with whom he is separated.
He was remanded in custody to May 6, 2024 and was advised to apply for bail at the High court.
