A Bulawayo man, Jabulani Maphosa, 38, was arrested by police in connection with a case of murder.
Maphosa is alleged to have stabbed his victim once in the chest following an argument while selling swets and bananas at Nkulumane Complex Mall yesterday.
Police confirmed the arrest in notice on their Twitter handle. “Police in Bulawayo arrested Jabulani Maphosa, 38, in connection with a case of murder. The suspect stabbed the victim once on the chest after an argument while selling sweets and bananas on 05/12/22 at Nkulumane Complex Mall.”
In a related but separate incident, a man was found dead yesterday in a bush near a school in Makokoba Township. The deceased had multiple bruises all over the body.
As a result, police are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of the case.
Police added that anyone with information should contact any nearest Police Station.
