Chinhoyi High Court judge, Justice Philda Muzofa sentenced Admire Ncube and Taurus Kapeni to life imprisonment for killing a man at Etina Mine, near Kadoma in 2021.
Another one of the accomplices was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The three were found guilty of the gruesome murder of Melody Makaramba.
The trio allegedly tied the victim with a plain wire before strangling him.
The three also hit him with an iron pestle on the back of the head and stabbed him with an okapi knife on the back of the neck from which he bled from a deep cut.
They then robbed the deceased of an I-tel cellphone, a portable gold scale and a brown wallet containing the deceased’s particulars and an unknown amount of cash.
