Samson ‘Droba’ Gowa drops single

Prominent musician Samson Gowa, popularly known in music circles as Droba, has dropped a single titled Tsotsi.

The song was produced by Lunga Beats.

Droba told Zim Now that the song exposes people who lie by taking advantage of new technology.

“The song is about how people are getting aware of technology, especially WhatsApp status is used to lie.

“I just saw it as a bad practice to lie for love but sometimes it helps, Tsotsi is an Afro Pop song for those who like to rock. My sound is called Jangano, meaning the meeting of different genres,” Droba said.

Droba, who has at least three albums under his belt, said he is working on the fourth album.

He has also worked with Tryson Chimbetu and Progress Chipfumo among other bigger artists.

Droba is also a sound engineer with F&G Events, a platform that has given him an opportunity to work with several artists.

“I am also the sound engineer for F&G Events, a platform which has given me a great opportunity to work with several artists who usually perform at our different joints dotted in Harare,” he added.
