The British Commissioner for Trade for Africa John Humphrey is in the country for a special visit, as the President Emmerson Mnangagwa-led government is trying to improve relations between Harare and London.

Upon arrival, Humphrey met with the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ambassador James Manzou where they deliberated on trade and investment opportunities in Zimbabwe.

The visit follows various meetings held by President Mnangagwa during King Charles III’s coronation in the UK early last month.

During his visit,  Humphrey will meet the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Honourable Oppah Muchinguri - Kashiri and officials from the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development to discuss possible areas of cooperation.
