In a shocking revelation, Zimbabwean businessman Tinashe Mutarisi has accused Passion Java of lying and targeting him.
Mutarisi made the allegations in a statement released on social media, claiming that Java had called him yesterday (Monday) to say that he was being sent by higher authorities to campaign against Mutarisi and his business.
“It is a lie as no one has authorised or sent them and it is simply their attention-seeking behaviour,” Mutarisi said in the statement.
Mutarisi went on to say that it is not the system that is fighting against him, but rather Java and his friends who are jealous of his success. He also claimed that Java and his friends had tried to befriend him, but he had refused to join their “destructive cliques that aim to undermine the values of our nation”.
“They have always desired a direct confrontation with me, despite my pleas for them to leave me alone. Unfortunately, they have continuously attacked both me and my business without any valid reason,” Mutarisi said.
Mutarisi concluded his statement by saying that Java and his friends’ actions stem from jealousy, as they are unable to attain the same level of love and respect from the people of Zimbabwe that he does. He also expressed his gratitude to the people of Zimbabwe for their unwavering support, which he said has become a powerful shield against these haters.
