The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company’s scheduled maintenance work on Seki substation on Sunday, December 10 will plunge Chitungwiza and surrounding areas into darkness for a continuous twelve hours.
ZETDC announced this in a maintenance notice to consumers, saying the power outage will affect “the whole of Chitungwiza, Seke suburbs, Guzha, Mayambara, Tilcor Industry, Zengeza, St Mary’s, Manyame Park, Dema and surrounding areas.
“Customers are advised to treat all circuits as live during this period as power may be restored without notice,” ZETDC warned in the notice.
