Hatcliffe violence victim not dead, four assailants on the run

The police has dismissed social media reports that a female victim who was being assaulted by five female suspects after being accused of having an affair with a married man in Hatcliffe Extension has died with her assailants arrested for murder.

“The case is now under investigations the police have since arrested Mitchel Kariwo, 18, in connection with this case. The victim sustained some injuries as a result of the assault and she was referred to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals where she is receiving treatment,” the police said in a statement.

Police said they are now seeking Zeripah Kanduza, Natasha Kanduza, Fortunate Tembo and another suspect only identified as Olleen in connection with the case.

In the video circulating on social media, five women can be seen viciously beating up the victim while accusing her of having an affair with the husband of one of the assailants.
