Highfield Man Nabbed for Selling Counterfeit Fertiliser

A 25-year-old man from Old Highfield has been arrested after allegedly attempting to sell counterfeit Superfert fertiliser during a police sting operation in Belvedere, Harare.

Devine Vengere was picked up on November 26, 2025, following a tip-off to police about fake agricultural products circulating in the area.

Officers set up a trap after receiving information that a supplier identified as Blessing Mushonga — who is still at large — was selling counterfeit fertiliser.
