The Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport boarding bridge is now operational, catering for more travellers and flights while poised to enhance the overall passenger experience with its expanded and generously spacious facilities.

According to Zimbabwe Economic Review, travellers have already started using the refurbished terminal.

“The newly-constructed Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport apron welcomed its inaugural international flight, ET872.”

Officially commissioned on July 31 by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the state-of-the-art boarding bridge - manufactured by CIMC TIANDA - flawlessly connects with international aircraft.

The refurbishment of the older terminal area is set to be finished by December this year.

Developing an efficient air transport system is critical in enhancing economic growth in line with the country’s aspirations.
